STERI-KLENZE
"STERI-KLENZE" is an Innovative Potable Water Pipeline Disinfection system developed by Schur-BPH & Yorkshire Water
STERI-KLENZE applies a chlorinated mist to the inside surface of pipes thus removng the need to fill the pipe with water during Disinfection
Suitable for pipes from 50mm upwards
Developed over 20 years ago,
STERI-KLENZE uses 99.6% less water and is 95% faster than standard "flooding" methods.
Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite) is mixed with water, atomised and applied to the pipe wall only, no need to fill the pipe
STERI-KLENZE is fully proven and fully automatic and requires only a small generator for operation.
Offering a massive reduction in the amount of water used during pipeline disinfection which in turn has a positive effect on the environment as well as huge cost and time saving advantages.
During use the STERI-KLENZE system collects quality assurance data and stores this data, the data is automatically emailed after completion of the disinfection process. ppm is logged by the system

- 150mm (6”) pipe 150m long
- Total water needed for Disinfection = 14 Litres
- 15 minute standing time
- Reconnect pipe back to the network, after 15 minutes of light flushing
